Powering on
Starting the LUMIN App
Install the LUMIN App from either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
Note: Mac M1 can also run the LUMIN App from the iOS App Store link above.
Turn everything else on first (see Recommended power-up sequence).
Start the LUMIN App and it will automatically detect your UPnP Media Library and your LUMIN Audiophile Network Music Player.
If you only have one Music Server and one LUMIN, the App will start to populate the 'browse' window with music immediately.
Multiple Servers or multiple LUMIN players
If automatic detection doesn't choose the desired Music Server or LUMIN player, you can enter Settings by tapping the cog icon and choosing your preferences in the 'LUMIN' and 'Music Library' sections.
Cloud music streaming services
If you don't have a local Music Server and only wish to use online streaming services, you can follow the following instructions:
Make sure you already have an account set up at your preferred music streaming service (TIDAL and Qobuz and KKBOX are supported within the LUMIN App). 30-day free trials are usually available.
Make sure that LUMIN and your App device are connected to a network that has internet access.
Either tap on the TIDAL/Qobuz/KKBOX icons in the browse window or enter Settings > LUMIN Player Options > TIDAL/Qobuz/KKBOX Setting.
Enter your login details for the appropriate service.
You can now browse the TIDAL/Qobuz/KKBOX libraries by tapping the TIDAL/Qobuz/KKBOX icons in the App browse window.
